I have lived at Cambridge Park Apartments for four years and have seen the property change management companies too many times to count! The new management company is an exception! They have put a lot of time, money, and effort into beautifying our community. I am impressed with the changes and can't wait to see what they do next! By the way - the rates are VERY reasonable for what you receive in return.

Lovely and Eclectic place to live!
I've been renting from The Residence Group for 10 years with no problems and the staff has always been friendly and helpful.

Overall a nice place: I've lived in some Residence group apartments for over a year now, and think that they are ok. The overall floor layout is nice, and when I've called to get repairs made the management responds fairly quickly. However, the repairs often don't last for very long; I've had to call at least three times about my heating and cooling unit. That said, they do seem willing to extend an effort when asked.

It's hot in here!: When I moved in, the windows were painted shut. They said they would fix them, but never did. My A/C has gone out twice and the roaches are a problem in the summertime. If you are one day late on your rent, they charge you - and won't work with you. I probably won't rent from them again.

Beautiful Apartments: The Residence Group Apartments are simply beautiful. They are elegant and classy. However, the management is tough to deal with. Phillip, the manager, is an arrogant jerk. I recently relocated and two months before my lease was up, they started bringing people into the apartment without my knowledge to show the place. I was really ill with a fever, and this little old lady knocked and less than a second later she entered my apartment. Phillip told me that it was not my apartment and I needed a house. I would never rent from these disrespectful people again. As I was leaving, they started renting to anyone. The man across from me was supposedly an attorney, yet his children climbed in and out of the bedroom window and made noise at all hours of the night and early morning. People had really nice cars, and yet, I had to call and ask them to come out and tell some of their hoodlum tenants not to bounce the ball around my new car. They desperately need to put up a remote control gate, because it is not too far from a pure GHETTO, but I must say the apartments are gorgeous and they are sooooooooooo huge it is like living in your own home.

Aronov manages rental homes for owners. Aronov is NOT a good neighbor. they allow landscaping to degenerate and home to be literally destroyed due to lack of maintenance which in Montgomery is area-specific and critical. Aronov contributes to the general decline of whatever neighborhood they enter. All of the owners who have left behind a home in Montgomery for Aronov to manage: BEWARE, you may lose your home to wrack and ruin.

Terrible Customer Service-Would not Reccomend: I Would not reccomend anyone to use the services of Aronov home rentals.
The people who work for this company are very Rude, disorganized, and most of all Arogant. We listed our home to be rented with Aronov, and they did absolutely nothing in terms of showing the home, promoting, and answering our questions. This is basically a sit back on there Arse company who waits for potenial renters & buyers to contact them. I honestly would not use there services. I found another local company shortly afterwards, who got my house rented in less than 30 days. Shame on you Aronov....

I was in Montgomery for the ACSC from August 2007-June 2008. I have lived in many apartments around the world and must say that Barrington was one of the nicest. It is a very clean community and the staff has always been very helpful. I would recommend it to anyone moving to Montgomery.

I moved in to Barrington two months ago and have really enjoyed this community. I am a single female and live by myself. I feel completely safe living here.
The community is beautiful and the grounds are kept immaculate. The pools are always kept clean and the office just got a new tanning bed. I would recomend this community to anyone.

What I like about the community
1. The outside of the community is omg omg1 so wonderful
2. The apartment complex by itself is so beautiful and well upkept
3.The pools are lovely
4. They always had a wonderful breakfast serve
5. Maintineance would sometimes come soon as you called them and other times they would take longer.
6. The apartments are big and spacious.
The apartments have a very modern, neutral design to them.
7. The neighbor hood is very very quiet. Me and My husband are youngters, cuz i'm 19 yrs old and he is 20, so no partying type people in there.
8. Good insultlation
9 grounds kept up.
10. Nice walking trails.
11.Let you know you have packages.
The place is nice and I had problems with the staff being nice but it always seem like it was an act; like a put on. But I'm pretty sure they are nice overrall and to other people. To us we didn't feel that way. We move in there in june of 2006 and Betty greeted us which she was the sweet lady , but she retired I think. Kalaya came and she is a wnderful person also. The place is a must live in place because I think they are the best apartments in town.

I've lived at The Mark Apartments for 5 years. I have never had any problems with the office staff, maintenance staff, or with the other residents. The maintenance crew always waves as you drive by them as they are doing their daily grounds clean-up. Also most of the residents will at least say hello as you walk by heading to your apartment or picking up your mail. I've never had to go around another resident's or guest's car because the person had stopped in the middle of the drive-way to have a conversation.
In five years, there may have been 4 times when I wasn't able to park in my usual area. Even then, all I had to do was park three or four spaces down or at the building across the parking lot. Plenty of spaces for everybody.
The one-bedroom apartments are huge compared to other complexes and in relation to the rent. For those looking at the two-bedroom, I looked at the floor plan drawing to see if I wanted to upgrade to a two-bedroom. I figured with the extra room and bath, the apartment would actually be twice as small. Other complexes will make the living room smaller in order to add the additional bedroom. Not The Mark!! The living, dining, kitchen, bath, and spare bedroom are the same size as the one-bedroom apartments!! And, the master bedroom is still a foot or more bigger than the spare bedroom.
I haven't had any problems with any of my neighbors. I don't have any hearing problems and I can not hear my neighbors for the majority of the time. The guy next door may run up the stairs, drop his keys the same as I drop mine occasionally, or the neighbor behind me may slam a cabinet door, or as in a hotel-type-of-way, you can hear the shower water running, but that's it. I don't hear their conversations, radios, TVs, or the telephone rings...these are what you would expect to hear from a poorly built complex!
Can you tell why I haven't moved yet and that I really like this complex'' Maintenance has always been quick to fix whatever. Fortunately, I haven't had to call them but a couple of times. But each time, the problem was fixed that day or definitely by the next day.
I haven't had any problems with safety. I actually moved into these apartments after being robbed twice at my old address. So trust me, when you are looking for a place to move after being robbed two times in one week, safety/security becomes a very high priority. There are outside lights every where. There is one spot that I wish a light would be placed, but that area is a grassy area and not a walking/driving path. All driving/walking paths are very well lit.
So is there anything that I don't like about this place' Actually, 1 thing. I'm not going to guess what type of trees with little white flowers are around the complex, but carpenter bees love them. That's a nature thing, but on the management issue side, these carpenter bees also love to drill holes in our wood balconies and stairs. I use my balcony a good bit. These bees have never messed with me and I try to do my own bee control by spraying them, but I think management should find a way to treat the wood to keep the bees from drilling their holes and rotting out the wood.
I highly recommend this complex. I have never had any problems in the five years that I've lived there. Maybe I have just been lucky these last five years or maybe there are some other reasons for having such a great place to live. In five years, my rent has only been late once and I respect the staff and my neighbors so they respect me. If you want a great place to live, help make it a great place by paying rent in full and on time; if you don't like loud neighbors, don't be a loud neighbor; impatient with the elder lady taking too long checking her mail, you'll be old one day so remember that.

I lived in the Mark Apartments for about a month, during that month both of my cars got broken in too, a Caprice and a Chrysler 300. It is tooo many apartment complexes in that area so someone is always watching you, and knows your every move. I had to take a copy of both police reports to the front office for them to believe me. The security that they so call have in not there. Living in The Mark apartments is overrated...If you have anything work value i seriously suggest not to move in these apartments
